Program Requirements (You will not qualify unless you can fulfill the requirements below):

You need to be a IT professional, developer, Independent Software Vendor, etc. or in a related field.

This is a great tool for a new business. You do NOT need to have existing software products to qualify for this program.
 

To qualify and to keep your subscription valid, you must:

1. Become a Registered Member of the Microsoft Partner Program.
   
   There is no charge for this, it takes just a few minutes, and we'll tell you exactly how to do it!
    
2. Submit the URL of your company’s official website at the time of enrollment. You must maintain the contact information on the official corporate website during your membership.
   
   The URL you provide should contain enough information for Microsoft to validate your business as an IT company.
    
3. Agree to develop one (1) packaged and resalable software product and provide profile information about it.  The product must support at least one of the following Microsoft technologies:
   • Windows Vista
   • 2007 Microsoft Office system
   • Windows Server 2003
   • SQL Server 2005
   • Microsoft mobility platform (Windows Mobile for Pocket PCs Windows Mobile for smart phones)
   • Microsoft Dynamics

   There are NO requirements on what the software must do and/or how complex it must be.  In addition, the software need NOT reach completion, but you will have to post a product announcement on your site approximately 6 months after enrollment.
    

4. Sign the enrollment agreement & pay the standard annual membership fee of US$375 to Microsoft directly. (Note: Fee varies by country).
